Sampling a superb selection of fine wines sounds like a fantastic way to spend a day but this is more than a simple wine tasting. Here you will be shown how wines match with a four course meal. The principal is to understand the major grapes, so you can discover which your favourite is and also taste how food harmonises with the wines to create a fabulous meal. You39ll learn that the prejudiced views of some wine types are flawed and that certain wines can easily match the right foods. You39ll have fun improving your wine knowledge and hopefully leave the tasting very merry and bright! Held in the heart of the city, next to the Thames, this experience will concentrate on nine varieties of grape including Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvingon, Shiraz and Semillon. Your four course meal will vary depending on the season and the selection of wines you39ll taste. Please note there are no tours running between 30th July 15th August 2012 due to the Olympics.
